Safe Water for a Thirsty World

New Life International Inc. Zambia is a non-profit Christian organization registered as a NGO (non-government organization) in 2005 to address the health needs for safe water and sanitation to the poor both in urban and rural areas of Zambia through affordable environmental friendly appropriate water purification technology.

Safe water and sanitation education is the start of the journey towards community development, improved health, and a first step in the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals by 2015.

New Life International Inc. Zambia activities include:

  • Promoting the research and use of environmental friendly, affordable technologies for water purification.
  • Support communities to access safe and affordable water and sanitation services.
  • Sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ as the ‘Living Water’ through Christian witness.
  • Support of continual community development in the areas of agriculture, adult literacy, health education and HIV/AIDS education.

Since 2005 New Life International Inc. Zambia has installed 22 water purifier systems in the Southern Province, Western Province and in the Copper Belt Province.  The action plan calls for the continued support of these communities development as well as initiating another 20 model communities in 2008.
